Hello people of the internet! I am Jay, and I am an amateur producer, songwriter, and visual artist. If you would like, I’d love to share my creations with you! Thank you for visiting me in this little corner of the internet, friend.
My Mission
I use music and art as a means to cope with my feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Whenever I feel super strongly about anything, naturally, I turn to music, and listening to the music I write helps me see the world a little differently.
I hope that I can inspire someone else on their journey through life, just as art others have made has inspired me.
Why the mask? I intend on removing my ego from my art as much as possible. I want to be as authentic and honest as i can be, and I feel that although having an identity and ego in my daily life is necessary for survival, it hinders my ability to make the best art I can make. The persona of Jay Knight is hardly a persona at all, rather, an embodiment of the truest parts of myself that are unconditional.
